New Related Content Feature At lexis.com® Helps Legal Professionals Gain A More Complete Understanding Of Cases, Issues

NEW YORK — LexisNexis®, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, has announced the launch of LexisNexis Related Content, a new feature at lexis.com that enhances case law research by drawing on an exclusive mix of sources to surface and link to documents that provide additional support and analysis for case law documents.

Integrated within case law, the new feature helps lawyers and other legal professionals gain a more comprehensive understanding of a particular case, supporting arguments, and other legal issues that may have a bearing on the case.

“Our new Related Content feature minimizes the need for additional searches for content related to a case or subject by serving up links directly within the normal workflow of using lexis.com,” said Steven Zubrzycki, LexisNexis vice president of operations for Research & Litigation. “For legal professionals, this means quickly finding the critical content that matters most to a case, as well as more focused and efficient use of time when conducting research.”

The three key areas of Related Content that provide additional insight, analysis and enhanced navigation are:

• Full case-related documents: Legal professionals arrive at more sound decisions when they have a thorough understanding of case law and associated legal issues, and the new Related Content feature helps them do so with Official Reports PDFs; related court materials like Briefs, Pleadings, Motions and Dockets; and premium case analysis like Case in Brief and Expert Commentaries.

• Issue Analysis: Providing critical context and analysis on issues related to a case, lexis.com users now can quickly access content including ALR®, Am Jur®, State Jurisprudences, Matthew Bender® and Law Review documents.

• Document Outline: Links and navigational aids to help the user navigate quickly and easily to various parts of a case law document.
