Samsung To Pay Kodak $37.78M To Settle Contract Claims

NEW YORK - The federal bankruptcy judge presiding over the Chapter 11 proceeding of Eastman Kodak Co. on Dec. 19 approved an agreement under which Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. will pay Kodak $37,783,505 to resolve obligations Samsung has under a contract between the parties related to hardware for inkjet printers (In Re: Eastman Kodak Company, No. 11-10202, Chapter 11, S.D. N.Y. Bkcy.).
