Is there a way to make entries in the check register without actually printing the check?  There are times when handwritten checks are written and just need to be entered without actually printing.

We use Check Express (found on the Accounting Menu) for this purpose and uncheck the box (To Be Printed). You simply input all the data from the hand check including the check number and hit save and close and it is treated just as if the check were printed.
