security profiles for user defined record

I created a user defined record and I set up all the security profiles of existing users to allow them to only view data for this record. But if I create a new user associated with this security profile Time Matters allows this user to create and modify data for this record.

Hey There,

You might check  File- Setup- Users and Security - Security Settings and make sure that you have turned on Security application wide.
