Is there anyway to have a split screen with the reference calendar on one side and ToDos on the other side with the calendar in the middle? If not, would be a nice addition to a future upgrade.

Reed, one way to customize what you are describing would be to use the Tile Windows feature off the Main Menu Bar>Windows>Tile Windows. Consider setting up the Calendar view with the Reference Calendar and then adding a customized ToDo list with the Tile feature. Also there is a user level setting for Default opening windowt>Last Session that could save this setup for your next login.
