I have the communications preferences in TM11 set to look for new email evey 5 minutes but it does not do so. I can only get new mail manually. Any ideas?

You may need to go into the inbox to start the every 5 minutes check. After you have opened TM, do you then open the Inbox and check your mail? If not, try that to see if it will then do the check automatically. Also check to see if the setting to "Check Only When Personal Inbox is Open" is checked.

Just as an aside, I really don't recommend checking every 5 minutes. It slows your system down and do you really need to be interrupted that frequently? I would suggest 30 minutes or maybe 15.

Thanks. I usually have TM running with the inbox open most of the time because I get alot of emails. I'm begginning to suspect that I may have a network communication issue with TM not being able to connect to my email server.
