There should be no conversion issues going from WordPerfect9 to either WordPerfect12 or WordPerfectX3 (aka WP13). In fact, the file format in WordPerfect is called "WordPerfect 6-X3" which indicates the actual file format will work in ALL versions between WordPerfect 6 all the way up to WordPerfectX3 without ANY file conversion.

However, if you are going from HotDoc 2008 to HotDocs 2009, there is an optional component file conversion since the native HD2009 format is now XML based.

Upgrade from WP 9 to 12 or x3

We are considering an upgrade from WP 9 to either WP 12 or X3. We are using HD 2008 Pro and are currently running TM/BM Enterprise version 7 but are in the process of upgrading to 9.3. Does anyone know of any problems we may encounter with either WP or X3 that we should know about when making our decision?
