Setting a Default Timekeeper in Time Sheets

If you are not the Responsible Lawyer on a matter or if you enter time on behalf of someone else on a regular basis, you can set your workstation to default to a specific timekeeper on Time Sheets.  This will save time because you will not have to change it every time and it will ensure accurate data entry.

 

Go to the Options pull-down menu | Workstation Settings.    You must have security rights to access Workstation Settings.  If you do not see Workstation Settings, have someone with the security rights log in at your workstation to make the change.

 

Locate the line “Default to ___ on Time Sheets”.  Double click in the Timekeeper field and select the default Timekeeper.  You do not need to check the box "Default to Assigned Lawyer...".  Click OK to save the change. 

 

Now on the Time Sheet data entry screen, this timekeeper will appear in the field automatically!
