When I try to close & archive a matter, I get error ' The matter CT2967 cannot be closed due to the -activity in a month that has not been closed. I checked the client ledger and find zero balance. There is no work in progress nor unbilled time or trust funds, etc. The last transaction done was in Sept 23 2009. Do I have to wait for this month to passby before I can close the matter in PC Law. Many thanks.

You can not close and archive the matter until you have closed all the months with activity. Since there was a transaction in September, you can not close and archive the matter until you have closed September.
