Does anyone know how to convert invoices generated in PCLaw to Excel.
We from time to time have to edit bills on Word (using the Edit Disk Image) to present the to clients after performing cosmetic changes. This is a very time consuming tasks as the bills on Word do not appear in exactly the same format as generated in PClaw. So, I have created an Excel template wherein we have to enter all the information manually - fees, disbs, Trust, etc. This again is a very time consuming and tedious task.
Is there a software that can for instance convert pdf bills (we save copies of our invoices to pdf) to Excel without losing the formating capabilities.
Hassan
I don't have the time to try it right now, but it should be possible with one of the better OCR programs (omnipage pro or finereader pro.) It's not even really an OCR issue, as the PDFs are generated with text already in place.
Might be worth a try.

Nuance Software has a great little PDF Converter software. You might download a trial and see if that would work.
