Can't perform backup

Recently, I've been unable to back  up data.  Whenever I try to, I get a message that the system is watiing for everyone to log out.  Problem is, no one else is logged in. However, the user montior shows me logged in as well as  "Link 1 - ADMIN" which has apparently been logged in for about two days.  Can't figure that out.  Solutions?

I recently had a client who had this issue. They made sure PCLaw was not running in the background on any computer (check the processes tab from task manager). Then they rebooted the server. The problem was gone.

While rebooting the server can be a nuisance, this was the quickest way for this client.
