Tom Rowe is a Managing Member of OTB Consulting (OTB), located in Cary, North Carolina and Baltimore/DC. OTB provides Time Matters Practice Management Software training, customization and consulting services to law firms around the world.
Tom's unique background enables him to provide valuable legal technology insight to lawyers. He earned a dual degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1981. In 1986, Tom, a fourth generation attorney, received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. After practicing law for 9 years in Decatur, Georgia, he left a successful trial and school law practice to form TurnKey Computer Solutions, Inc. TurnKey quickly became the leading legal technology vendor in the metro-Atlanta area, and then expanded throughout the United States with an emphasis on Case Management and Litigation Management Software.
In 2001, Tom became the Vice President of DATA.TXT Corporation, the developers of Time Matters Software, the leading legal practice management software system. He formed PMPI in 2002 and OTB in 2003 to provide Time Matters services.
Tom has been a frequent speaker at the major legal technology symposiums, and has been published many times in the leading legal technology periodicals.
