  • Re: Can't save login

If this user goes to another workstation, will the login save? Did you try changing the password? Does it have any unusual characters? Is the default staff for the user deactivated? Was there an issue during the installation? Was it installed with admin windows login? Is there more than one version of TM installed? It could be an issue with the property

  • Re: Time Matters Outlook connection not working

Try running Time Matters 'As Admin'. Do the workstation setup and uncheck Outlook. Then go back and let it remain checked. Do you get any messages? Also, if user is in Win7, disable the User Account Controls until the link is working.

  • Re: Records for Bills

Jeff - did you ever resolve this issue? I have a new client who recently moved TM9Pro to a new 2008 server, and he has the same complaint about bill images. In fact, he can't create any PDF files in any of the folders under data. Even a 'save as PDF' doesn't produce a file. I didn't think to look in the review folder; I'll do

  • Re: documents not seen by all users for a contact

Could it be that those records not being seen are either filter out by security settings due to classification code, or are marked 'private'?

  • Re: Classification codes disappear after crash

If you are finally going to move forward with the upgrade, might as well move to version 11. If you let your AMP expire, you will not be able to activate the registration if you have to create a new database, so I am glad you did install it and activate it already. If the new server is in place, and the workstations can connect to it, you can move your

  • Re: Records for Bills

Does this happen for all users, no matter who posts the bills? I would try running the program as 'administrator'; if you right-click the program icon you should get an option to 'run as' or 'run as administrator'. See if that higher level windows user can create the bills folders. Also, test the training mode, and see if posted

Diane; My first question was going to be whether your version 6 is pro or enterprise, but, really it doesn't matter. Reinstallation of the program files will probably not correct this problem as my hunch is that it is data related. Could you be running out of space on the drive where the data is stored? I have seen odd behavior when the tables get

  • Re: Records for Bills

Sounds like your bills are not being posted. Unposted bills will temporarily put a pdf file in the 'review' folder. From Time Matters, select from the top menu option Billing, then select Post or Undo Bills. See if you don't have a list of bills waiting to be posted that corresponds to the pdf's in the 'review' folder.

  • Re: TM Save email periodically prompts to "Match Email to Contact/Matter"

In user settings, communication, on the send tab, click the Set Email Form Options. There is an option to Match Email Address to Contact/Matter. If you choose 'never', even using the TM Connect in Outlook, you should get an email form rather than a prompt. I believe this was working in earlier versions, but I just confirmed this behavior in

  • Re: TM Save email periodically prompts to "Match Email to Contact/Matter"

Ken - When a person's email address is present on multiple matter records, how would you want the program to determine to which matter the email should be related? Rather than letting it be random, the program is designed to let YOU decide to which matter the email relates. If you don't want to see this prompt, then only have a person's
