  • Re: Fee Allocation

Most likely, you have to use a third party reporting program such as SQL Reporting Services. I have written compensation reports for law firms and your criteria is pretty straight forward. Ardavan Gurg Pars Consulting Incorporated 206.923.8897 www.parsconsulting.com agurg@parsconsulting.com

  • Re: Invoicing in basic billing

Ed, The invoice information (mostly) is located in txnhdr table and linked to the billing items by a transaction id. However, without knowing more about your requirment it is hard to know if you need to extract information from other tables within Billing Matters. Hope this helps. Log in as one of the users affected and then goto: File > Setup > General > User Level > Lists Choose Documents in "Options for Each List Type" area then click on "Set List Options". Check "Pre-Search Default Selection for Initial List Opening" and it should be set to "<<All Records>>"

  • Re: Automatically generate letters

Have you tried to click on the Template tab and see if you template is selected? if it is not selected then try re-creating your autoentry form again. A human interaction is required even with a fully functioning trigger and autoentry form. You must click on "Merge" button to complete the merge process and follow the prompts. Ardavan Gurg

  • Re: Phase Codes on the billing item form?

Have you setup your phases in the Billing Prefrence for the matter? Goto Billing Prefrences for the matter then Phase tab and make sure your phases are setup and listed. After that you will be able to choose a phase when creating a billing record Ardavan Gurg Pars Consulting Incorporated www.parsconsulting.com agurg@parsconsulting.com

  • Re: Automatically generate letters

You are on the right path. Rather than "Launch a Program" choose to add a record. Then choose Document as your record type. From then have your autoentry form link to Formattable Clipboard, Merge or a HotDocs template to create your document.
