Been using it for a week without any problems. My database is located on a server and runs under SQL 2008r2.

  • Re: Invoicing in basic billing

Basically I'm trying to figure out how Time Matters knows what item in the billing table goes with what invoice so when I generate the report in Access I can limit the billing information to a specific invoice.

  • Invoicing in basic billing

Can someone explain to me what goes on in the background when you generate an invoice in basic billing? Is there a flag set in the billing table? If so what field. Are other tables updated and with what data? How does TM know which bills are on which invoice? I am trying to setup a report in Access that pulls data from TM to meet a particular clients

  • Paperport

Will the TM Link work with Paperport 14. If so, do I need the professional edition or will standard work?

  • Client Name Change Best Practice

It seems that every fiscal year we have a department or division we bill change their name. What is the best way to address this, create a new contact with the new name and archive the old or simply change the name on the client contact form? I guess my question comes down to the extent that a contact name change updates related records such as billing

  • Re: Considerations for new phone

You might take a look at www.memotoo.com. If you have a supported email client on your computer it can sync to a number of phones including Android and iPhone. It would be a three step process, sync TM to you email client then your email client to Memotoo and then your phone to memotoo. No MS Exchange required.

  • Re: How do I track the date of phase changes on the document form

Matt - Thanks for this answer, it works like a charm. Is there a source some where that endusers can access that gives you information such as this. It would be a big help! Ed

  • How do I track the date of phase changes on the document form

I have been playing with this for a day or so and can’t find a good way to make it work. I want to track the phase a document is in along with the date that phase was reached. The phases are “Draft”, “Final”, “Sent” and “Served/Filed”. It’s a hierarchy so only the most recent phase and date

  • Re: New server for TM10

I just had to chime in on this one as I have used Windows Home Server (WHS) since before its public release including building my own server for home use. While Nick is right about Windows XP Home he misses by a mile when lumps Windows Home Server (WHS) into the same category. Windows Home Server is Windows Server. Sure some of the bells and whistles
