  • Re: Linkage from Timematters to Worldox

Are you running XP or Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 Bit version)? Are you familiar with working in the registry? An upgrade to TM 11 will not work. Jeff Salutz Salutz & Salutz LLP Manitowoc, WI

  • Re: Linkage from Timematters to Worldox

You don't need to change it. Time Matters gets the Worldox info from the registry on the workstation. I assume the link is not working. What version of Time Matters and what Operating system on the workstations (32bit or 64bit). What happens when you click on the "Test Worldox Link"? I had a problem with GX3 and Windows 7 64bit which required

  • Version 11 ini file

I know the .INI file for Version 9 was TMW.INI found in C:\WINDOWS. I was wondering what the file name is for Version 10 and Version 11. I just upgraded to Version 11.1 and now I see a TM11.ini file in C:\WINDOWS. All that's in it is: [Settings] PriDB= My TMW.ini file is full of entries related to Version 9. • Re: Worldox GX3

It was LexisNexis. I'm thinking maybe they have not tested it yet and that's why it is not listed but all they told me was if it's not listed, it's not supported. May just be something with my configuration. I know GX2 is supported in Version 11. Jeff Salutz Salutz & Salutz LLP

  • Worldox GX3

I was wondering if anyone has Worldox GX3 working with their version of Time Matters. It is not working for me with Version 11.1. I see they do not have it listed as supported or not supported. I spoke with support who said if it's not listed, it is not supported. Jeff Salutz Salutz & Salutz LLP Manitowoc, WI

  • Re: TM 9E and Windows 7

If I set up an ODBC connection on an XP Machine It figures out the port number without specifying it. Windows 7 for some reason has trouble determining the port without specifying it. Jeff

  • Re: TM 9E and Windows 7

The ODBC connection did not work untill I specified the port. I then went into the TM file locations and changed the sql server line to <servername>\<sqlinstance>, <portnumber> (TimeMatters9). This fixed the connection. I also found Sql Server was not using the default port 1433 even though I never changed it. Thanks for your responce

  • TM 9E and Windows 7

I was wondering if anyone has used Windows 7 on a workstation to connect to a TM9E database. The install went fine but I'm getting "cannot connect to sql server". It is showing all connection parameters correctly and I can ping the server. All other XP stations connect fine. Just wordering if it's Windows 7 compatibility issue or someting
