I'm very curious to know if anyone has any thoughts on this. I still have to workaround the issue and cannot pinpoint the cause.

The issues seems, to me at least, to be permission related. As stated earlier, despite the fact that I allowed all users full control over both their local TM folder and the servers, only half of the office had TM Messenger working properly. I was able to fix the issue by uninstalling the program, granting the affected users domain admin rights (though

It appears that none of the aforementioned suggestions have provided a clue to solving my puzzle. TM Messenger acts the same way, even if I disable the pop-up blocker and virus scanner. All users delete their messages after reading them. And Google desktop is absent from several of the users experiencing issues. It is definately a workstation specific

Thanks for the suggestions. It appears to be more of a client-side issue. I will give them a try when I get in tomorrow morning.

This past weekend, I migrated our entire office to TM 9 Enterprise (from 8 Ent). After doing so, about 1/2 of our office has reported the same issue with the TM Messenger. They are able to open the messenger and double click to open a message (though the power view will not show the message), but it immediately exits if you either click off the screen

Our firm is currently preparing to migrate from TM7 Pro to TM8 Enterprise. We currently have about 30 users, and I'm planning on installing MS SQL Server 2005 Standard on a separate (standalone) server. I'm a little unclear with how TM Enterprise interacts with MS SQL Server from a licensing aspect. Will I need to purchase CALs for every machine

I had a chance to play around with World Server 8 at the LexisNexis testdrive site. Feature-wise, it's about everything we'd ever need. I guess, more than anything, my concerns are technical. Ideally, I'd like to set-up a brand new Windows 2003 server to handle both the webserver and sql server only, while maintaining our independent Novell

Thank you for the input. We are currently utilizing Time Matters for scheduling, maintaining contacts, and matter management. As mentioned earlier, we are not currently using the document management and email features. I may push for both in the coming future, but for now I think the document management aspect would confuse our staff and require extensive

Our firm is currently looking to upgrade our Time Matters setup. We're currently running TM 7 Pro with 30 users and, though we're not using the email feature and our database is small, it's starting to lag a little bit for everyone. A few months back, as I began to explore our upgrade options, I was able to try out World Server and was immediately
