Brian T. Casey is a Partner in the Atlanta office of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Corporate Insurance Practice Group. Mr. Casey's practice focus is on insurance, mergers and acquisitions, warranties/extended service contracts, and the multi-state regulation of insurance companies, insurance agencies, third-party administrators, and other financial services firms. He also represents insurance clients in the areas of privacy, reinsurance, corporate finance and venture capital, as well as e-commerce. Mr. Casey is a nationally recognized speaker in the field of insurance and regularly speaks at national and international events on matters and trends affecting the insurance industry. Mr. Casey holds degrees from Auburn University (B.S.B.A. Accounting, summa *** laude, 1984); The Ohio State University College of Law (J.D., 1987) and Emory University (Master of Laws in Taxation, 1992).

Rachel B. Coan is a partner in the New York office of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, where she is a member of the Corporate Insurance and Capital Markets practice groups. Ms. Coan regularly represents insurers, reinsurers, banks, investment banks and other businesses in a variety of transactions, including those involving the issuance of equity, debt and hybrid securities, Regulation XXX Notes and other structured, insurance-linked products. She has established captive insurers and securitization vehicles and has advised clients on the structure and implementation of many novel financing transactions involving insurance assets. A member of the New York City Bar Association's Committee on Insurance, she is a frequent speaker on insurance-related topics.
