NEW YORK – LexisNexis Legal & Professional®, a leading global provider of information and analytics is proud to be recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” by the Disability Equality Index® (DEI), the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking tool for the Fortune 1000 and Am Law 200 to measure disability workplace inclusion against competitors.

LexisNexis earned the top score of 100, indicating a strong commitment and adherence to disability inclusion practices. Companies receive a score, on a scale of zero (0) to 100, with those earning 80 and above recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.” The 2022 index, which is a joint initiative of the American Association of People with Disabilities and Disability:IN, measures key performance indicators, including culture and leadership; enterprise-wide access; employment practices including benefits and recruitment; and community engagement.

More than one billion people globally have disabilities. At LexisNexis, we believe that diverse teams are essential for innovation, reducing groupthink and enhancing critical decision-making. We constantly work to cultivate an inclusive and diverse workforce that ensures fair and equitable opportunities in the workplace for all our employees.

“Disability inclusion is a rapidly expanding aspect of corporate culture, and it’s gratifying to partner with 415 companies on the 2022 Disability Equality Index,” said Jill Houghton, President and CEO of Disability:IN. “These top-scoring companies not only excel in disability inclusion, but many are also adopting emerging trends and pioneering measures that can move the disability agenda from accommodation to inclusion and ultimately, genuine belonging."

“We are fostering a work environment where our colleagues with disabilities have the resources and support to not only perform their jobs, but to thrive in their careers. We know we are best at serving our customers with a diverse and inclusive organization, and this DEI ranking is a special recognition that we are on the right track,” commented Ronda Moore, LexisNexis Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer.
