Pawlenty Moving Right

Everyone knows that Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is running for president. And it seems like he is doing everything he can to capture the GOP base...  Taking the pledge never to raise taxes plays well with the right wing of the party. But he is going further. He is proposing a constitutional amendment to limit state spending.

There are two problems with Pawlenty's approach...  [H]e is not offering up service cuts... [and] the constitutional amendment to limit spending is anti-democratic.
