Training
To support a seamless transition and successful user adoption, LexisNexis® offers a comprehensive training program. Training is delivered by a certified LexisNexis® CounselLink® Trainer and coordinated by the Training Manager. The LexisNexis Trainer and Training Manager will work with your organization to create a training plan that meets the needs of your users.
CounselLink courses can be provided via web-based training at LexisNexis® University, which is available online, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, for users who would like either a refresher in specific features or an overview of the entire application. We can also arrange custom training onsite at your location.
CounselLink web-based training is delivered by a live instructor. These are a sample of available training topics:
- Creating, Assigning and Tracking Matters
- Invoices & Invoice Review
- Budgeting & Staffing List

Training delivery options include:
- CounselLink Instructor-Led Web Training
Learners will receive 60- to 90-minute training sessions on specific CounselLink modules with a live instructor. The modules are specific to the role and need of the learner, maximizing time spent in class. The benefit of web-based training is the elimination of travel expenses.
- Onsite Classroom Training
Training in a classroom setting at your location gives your learners the opportunity to exchange ideas with other users and learn alongside their peers. Participants are also removed from the day-to-day distractions of the work environment to focus on increasing their knowledge and proficiency with the software.
- CounselLink Online Self-paced Training
Self-paced training is offered via LexisNexis® University, our online University for CounselLink training. This option gives users numerous online tutorials and courses that enable our customers to optimize their use of the CounselLink solution.
