Is the Bookstore online ordering process
secure?
Yes. The LexisNexis Bookstore site uses state-of-the-art security provided by Netscape's secure socket layer, which ensures that sensitive information does not pass through unencrypted. The Bookstore does not maintain a database of your credit card numbers. In fact, if you need to discuss your Web site purchases or transactions with a Bookstore representative, be sure to write down your transaction number.
How do I check the status of my Bookstore
order?
To check the status of an order, please call Customer Service at
(800) 833-9844 (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday) or email us at
customer.support@lexisnexis.com. Please include your order number. In the future, we will be providing a Web-based order tracking system.
When can I expect my order to
arrive?
This will depend on the shipping option you selected at time of purchase, as well as on whether any of the items ordered are on
backorder.
Shipping Options
Rush Delivery: Your order will be processed on the next U.S. business day. Please allow 2 - 3 days for delivery subsequent to the processing of your
order; 4 - 6 days for orders outside of the US & Canada.
Standard Delivery: Your order will be processed on the next U.S. business day. Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery subsequent to the processing of your
order; 2 - 3 weeks for orders outside of the US & Canada.
How do I cancel an
order?
If you
wish to cancel an order that you have submitted, please call us at (800)
833-9844 or (518) 487-3000: press 0 for the operator, and request to
speak with a Customer Service Representative. (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through
Friday) Or, send an email as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot
cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process.
How do I return an
order?
Cancellation Policy--New and Reinstatement One-Year Service--You may cancel a new or reinstatement order for one-year service for full credit by returning all materials shipped to you under this Order to LEXIS within thirty (30) days of their receipt by you. If you cancel your order after thirty (30) days but within sixty (60) days of your receipt of the materials, you will receive a credit equal to 5/6 of the purchase price of the materials. No credit will be given for any attempted termination of service after sixty (60) days from your receipt of the materials. All other products--Other products may be returned for a full credit within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the item. Please indicate on your invoice/packing slip which product(s) you are
canceling. Return the invoice and product(s) to the appropriate publisher at the address listed below:

All returned materials must be received by Lexis in a salable condition. Failure to return material in a salable condition constitutes your irrevocable and unconditional final acceptance of the material and your express consent to, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions of this order.
