What’s New in the Latest Version of LexisNexis® Early Data Analyzer?
As we add features and enhancements to Early Data Analyzer, we'll release updates through notification of an email or you can get the latest release in the upgrade section. Early Data Analyzer enhancements share the same download site with LAW PreDiscovery.
Here's a look at what's new in the latest release (November 21, 2014): Early Data Analyzer v1.7.2 includes
Early Data Analyzer 1.7 offers new settings enabling the expansion of compound documents and disabling indexing in cases that do not require searching. In addition, Web-Enabled Early Data Analyzer delivers significant enhancements to the Explore view, including multiple grouping categories (e.g. Conversants) for better control over results during early case assessment, and a document list that displays more information upfront and is consistent with the Filters and Search views. For more details refer to the Release Notes. LAW PreDiscovery v6.7.137 includes
6.7 allows you to configure email notifications for alerting key personnel when an import, batch process, or export has completed. This version also reduces the risk of producing redacted information by excluding unmerged redacted content from OCR output and providing an export setting to prevent the content from being produced via the exported native or text file. When importing load files into LAW PreDiscovery®
6.7, you can link to text files in the source location rather than copying them into the case folder and making a second set. For more details refer to the Release Notes. Important Note
The database schema has changed to support performance improvements for full text searching in LAW PreDiscovery versions 6.6.14 and later. After upgrading, a one-time update to the schema will occur automatically when accessing the Full Text Search Reports feature in an existing case. This update will clear existing search counts and the searches will need to be re-executed with the new version. If you need to retain the count information, you must backup / save a report of the data prior to upgrading.
