Convenient court access
LexisNexis File & Serve enables Courts to provide remote e-filing to self-represented litigants. Using the secure, password-protected LexisNexis File & Serve Web site, self-represented litigants can file documents with the court and serve them on other case parties electronically.

Simple registration
All that is required of the litigant is that they complete a simple registration form. An information page for self-represented litigants provides complete instructions on how to register, sign on and file and serve documents.

Streamlined payment
Self-represented litigants pay a per transaction fee via credit card for filing and service. Pricing and payment information is also available on the information page. Any applicable statutory fees are also collected by LexisNexis online and disbursed to the Court.

Note: Online receipt of service is not available for self-represented litigants.

Public Access Terminals:
LexisNexis works with courts to provide Public Access Terminals (PATs) at the courthouse to enable indigent litigants and others to file electronically with the court without paying a LexisNexis File & Serve transaction fee.
