Courts
throughout the country are dealing with increasing caseloads—and
tightening budgets. Working with LexisNexis File & Serve, The
Baltimore City Circuit Court moved quickly
to automate and streamline its filing and service processes in order
to ensure timely and cost-efficient disposition of cases. Implementation
of File & Serve began in June of 2001, and within months the Court
was realizing substantial improvements in several key areas of court
operations: increased productivity and access, enhanced customer service
and extended resources.
