Is the On-Demand Verdict Search service available to anyone? Yes, you do not have to be a Alabama Civil Trial Reporter subscriber to use the service.

What will the research staff do when an On-Demand Verdict Search is requested? We will:

• Search more than 10,000 personal injury case reports in the Alabama Civil Trial Reporter database for the information you need.
• Structure the search by time period and/or geographic region, if desired.
• Call you with a report of the preliminary findings.
• Send you a portfolio of relevant case reports within 2-3 business days.
• Provide economical service:

If no relevant records found, or you choose to cancel once research has begun, there is a charge of $125. 

What information is needed to request a On-Demand Verdict Search?

The information we need to perform a search is basically “what you're looking for”, e.g., if you need an expert witness searched — we need the experts name; if you are looking to value an injury — we need the following: age/sex of the plaintiff; cause of the injury; the actual injury suffered (any special treatments; surgeries; etc.); if you want statewide or a particular county or region of the state searched; and if you want defense verdicts included in the search or just plaintiff awards (verdict and settlement).
