OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open only to members of the International Bar Association (“IBA”), who are registered to attend the IBA Annual Conference in Singapore, Oct 14, 2007 through Oct 19, 2007 and who are least 21 years of age or older as of October 14, 2007 (“Term”).  Void where prohibited by law.  Employees of LexisNexis, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. and their parents and its and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each (collectively, “Sponsor”) are not eligible. In addition, employees of the IBA or Apple Inc. are not eligible.  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. 

TO ENTER:  By attending and completing any four different LexisNexis® solutions demonstrations in the LexisNexis Solutions Suite located in the LexisNexis booth (no. 33) at the IBA Annual Conference in Suntec Center, Singapore during the Term, and subject to your compliance with the following requirements, you will receive one $10.00 (US dollars) Apple® iTunes® gift certificate (while supplies of the iTunes gift certificate last) and also be entered to win one of 10 16GB Apple iPod touch devices.  At end of each LexisNexis solutions demonstration you will receive a LexisNexis stamp on the LexisNexis provided “Tour Card” which will be provided at the LexisNexis booth or in your IBA conference registration bags.  When you have received four LexisNexis stamps on your Tour Card please complete the back of the Tour Card with your full name, street address (no post office boxes), city, state, country, country zip code, email address plus daytime and evening telephone numbers (if you do not have a telephone, please indicate “No Phone”). Failure to comply with this or any other official rule may result in disqualification. Incomplete information on the card may also result in disqualification. Deliver your Tour Card, with the four LexisNexis stamps, to a LexisNexis representative within the LexisNexis booth at the 2007 IBA Annual Conference to receive your 10.00 (US dollars) Apple iTunes gift certificate (while supplies of the iTunes gift certificate last) and to be entered to win one of 10 Apple 16GB iPod Touch. All Tour Cards must be received by LexisNexis representatives by the close of the IBA Annual Conference on October 19, 2007.

Limit one entry per person/household.  No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received.

RANDOM DRAWING:  10 winners will be selected by random drawings from all eligible entries received, such draw to be conducted at the LexisNexis booth (no. 33) at the IBA Annual Conference in Suntec Center, Singapore at 6.00  p.m. or when this promotion closes (which ever is earlier) on October 19, 2007 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of judges are final on all matters. Winners will be notified by mail. Limit one prize per person/household address. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: Participants who view four different LexisNexis solution demonstrations, as described above, and who have received four LexisNexis stamps on their Tour Card, will receive one $10.00 (US dollars) Apple iTunes gift certificate (while supplies of the iTunes gift certificate last).  In addition, 10 winners will receive, subject to the drawing criteria set forth above, an Apple 16GB iPod touch device with a retail value of approximately $399.00 each (US dollars). Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No substitution or transfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted.

All costs and expenses, duties, value added taxes or tax liability incurred by the winners as a result of winning are the sole responsibility of the winners. Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any taxes that may arise from the winning. The participant should seek independent financial advice in this regard. The law of the Republic of Singapore shall apply.  Potential winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance form postmarked within 30 days of the date on notification materials. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. All winners must produce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize.  Prizes must be collected from Sponsor within two months of the date on notification materials, failing which it shall be donated to the Community Chest of Singapore.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners’ name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor collects the participants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not participate in the contest.

TERMS:  Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion, whether caused by computer, technical or human error. Winners assume all liability and agree to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.  Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the sweepstakes whether caused by computer, technical or human error. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the program for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, freeze or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF THE LAW. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL MAKING ANY SUCH ATTEMPTS TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
