Elizabeth Cavendish
Elizabeth is the Library Relations Consultant working with librarians in law firms in Chicago and also with librarians in law firms, academic, state, county and court governments in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska. She joins LexisNexis from her position as Library Director of Adams and Reese, LLP in New Orleans where she oversaw nine office libraries for 315 attorneys in five states. Prior to becoming a librarian she was a practicing attorney specializing in trial and appellate criminal defense.
Elizabeth is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Chicago Association of Law Libraries, the Kansas City Association of Law Libraries, the Mid America Association of Law Libraries, the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries, the Southwest Association of Law Libraries and the Special Libraries Association.
Elizabeth received a B.S. in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin, and a M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University.
