New Sources Available: IRS Exempt Organizations CPE Technical Instruction Program

LexisNexis® has introduced new sources that include materials from the IRS Exempt Organizations CPE Technical Instruction Program.  These files contain course of study materials from the Internal Revenue Service Office of Assistant Commissioner (Employee Plans and Exempt Organizations). The Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Program is a service-wide employee training program designed to assure the continuing technical and professional competence of IRS employees.

There are 5 separate sources for the years 2000-2004.  They can be found on lexis.com using following the path:

Legal > Area of Law by Topic > Taxation > Administrative Materials & Regulations > Federal > Agency Publications

The individual sources are entitled IRS Exempt Organizations CPE Technical Instruction Program for XXXX, where XXXX is the desired year.

Each course book contains essays written on Exempt Organizations Technical Topics.  Each essay is a separate document within the source.

The course book is for educational use only. It may be used as a research tool, but should not be used as a substitute for more substantive research because tax law and IRS policy are constantly changing.  Accordingly, the views expressed in these texts are not authority and should not be cited as such.
