Simplify Your Terms and Connectors Search Requests
(October 8, 2004)

The search Form on LexisNexis at lexis.com has been redesigned to make searching easier. It displays the list of connectors you need to logically join your terms for a Terms and Connectors search request.

  • Hover the cursor on a listed connector for a definition and an example that clarifies the appropriate and effective use of a connector.

  • Click on a connector in the displayed list to add it to your search request.

  • If your search request returns no results or too many results, Suggested Words & Concepts will automatically display on the search form when you click the "Edit Search" link. These suggested terms relate to your research query and offer you the advantage of supplementary words to use in your search request.

Format this page for printing.
