Daily Opinion Service
(May 20, 2005)

What is the Daily Opinion Service? The Daily Opinion Service from LexisNexis is your electronic daily advance sheet. Updated every 2 hours throughout the day, this service provides you with the most timely and comprehensive coverage of electronic case law from Federal and State appellate and high courts nationwide.

The Daily Opinion Service provides you with FREE cite lists that include our revolutionary Core Terms. You can easily and efficiently review summaries of today's opinions to determine which cases deal directly with the issues you are researching.

Only LexisNexis can provide you with this powerful feature in the cite display format. The full text of the documents is available through the use of a LexisNexis Web ID or by a LexisNexis by Credit Card ID.

How do you access the Daily Opinion Service? Go to www.lexis.com, and using the drop down menu titled Additional Products, locate the Daily Opinion Service. Simply select one or more courts that are of interest to your practice (in addition to Federal and State appellate and high courts, there are a number of specialized courts such as the US Bankruptcy Court available), select one or more dates (the service has a 2 week archive of case law), enter a client matter number (optional), and click on “Search”. It’s that easy!
