How to Request Permission to Copy and Distribute Materials
(September 2, 2005)

The Marketing Department or one of your attorneys has asked you to print articles from lexis.com and tells you they want to reproduce these articles for seminar packets to be distributed at a client seminar.

LexisNexis makes it easy for you to request copyright permission to reproduce multiple copies.

At the bottom of every page on your lexis.com search results there is the word “Copyright”. Clicking on this word will take you to the Copyright Permitted Uses and Restrictions on Use statement.  Within this statement there is a link to additional information through the link to “statement concerning copying, downloading and distribution of materials” and to the LexisNexis Permission Request Form.

Simply pull up the form, fill in the request template, and send it off.

You can also find the document Copying, Downloading and Distribution of Materials from the LexisNexis Services at http://www.lexisnexis.com/infopro/training/reference/default.asp.
