Deep Linking into lexis.com®
(October 7, 2005)

Did you know you can create deep links to lexis.com content with just the click of a button?

If you find yourself often being asked for the same statute, regulation or treatise sections, you can create links to this content and add the links to your organization's intranet.

  • Sign on to lexis.com
  • Click on the preference link on the upper right hand corner.
  • From the preference page, check the box on the right-hand frame called "show TOC Linking icons".

  • Once this box is checked you will then see the following symbol ( ) next to every statute, regulation or treatise section. When you click on the icon you will be given the URL to the source.  Simply copy and paste the URL into your intranet, and users will be able to click on the link and be taken directly to the section you specified (after they enter their user id and password).
