The LN Toolbar gets you to lexis.com search results in the blink of an eye!

Admit it.  This is your life: One of your attorneys asks you to do a quick search on a CEO that has been in the news.  You sit down at your computer, look for, and then open, a browser, type in www.lexis.com, enter your id and password, your client id, choose the appropriate database, and enter your search and review the results.  What should have been a quick search took five minutes just to get to the appropriate results screen!

With the LexisNexis Toolbar, (Available via a free download at www.lexisnexis.com/toolbar), librarians can save valuable time and enjoy fast access to LexisNexis materials no matter where they are on the Web. Because the Toolbar is always open when the browser is open, you can enter your search terms and choose the appropriate database all from your browser.

Using the Toolbar, users can:

  • Customize options on the Toolbar to fit their specific needs
  • Highlight text on a Web page and then use the text as their search terms.
  • Perform searches using the Google and MSN search engines – directly from the LN Toolbar!

If you’re having trouble downloading the toolbar from this site, contact your Librarian Relations Consultant for a CD-Rom that allows you to upload the toolbar to your desktop quickly and easily.

And once you’ve put it through its paces, we’re certain you’re going to want to push it out to all your attorneys.  Your IT department can easily push it to the attorney’s desktop.

It will change the way you do research!
