The Librarian and the Bee

Unlike Akeelah we can’t all be great spellers.  (If you haven’t seen this movie yet - do).  Fortunately those of us who are spelling challenged don’t have to be LexisNexis search challenged!

You probably already know that the Check Spelling link in the lexis.com search box will correct any of those “i before e except after c” mistakes that we all make.  Did you know that the lexis.com spell checker also includes thousands of proper names?  Can’t remember how to spell Kazakhstan?  (I know there’s an “H” in there.  I just can’t ever remember where it goes)!

Make your best guess as you type your search in the lexis.com search box and then click the Check Spelling link.  Spelling suggestions will appear below the search box.  Click on the correct spelling and it will automatically replace the misspelled word in the search box.
