Searching the Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory

The Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory contains over 900,000 entries for lawyers and law firms in the United States and 140 other countries. The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory on the LexisNexis® services is updated every month.

Representative Clients or Approved Attorneys – Use the CLIENTS segment to restrict your search to firms that list particular companies as clients. For example, take the following steps to locate firms that represent Dow Corning:

1. Click the Search tab.
2. Click the Legal source tab.
3. Click the following links in the order listed to search the MI Listings - Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory:

1. Click the radio button in front of Terms and Connectors.
2. Enter clients (dow corning) in the search field.
3. Click Search.

Use a free-text search to locate a firm's representative clients and clients for whom the firm is an approved attorney. Representative clients are clients that are not represented solely by that firm. Approved attorneys are firms that are the exclusive representatives of an organization or entity. For example, take the following steps to locate law firms in Michigan that represent Dow Corning:
