Using your Search History just got better

So it is 6 p.m. and you just sent a cite list of news articles to an associate. Then you log off your computer and head home. Waiting for you in your inbox when you return the next morning is a follow up request based on that cite list. So you think no problem, I will just rerun the search from my Archived Activity tab. But much to your surprise and delight, when you click on the history link, you search from yesterday afternoon appears on you Recent Activity tab. Now you can click on the link for yesterday’s search results, and run a focus on them to complete your follow-up reference request. And it didn’t cost you a cent (transactionally speaking).

Your Recent Results tab now includes links to your results from searches and focuses run in the last 24 hours, instead of resetting at 2 a.m. The Archived Activity tab still includes links to rerun or edit searches you have made in the last 30 days. For more information on using, sorting, or printing your history data click on the Show Me tutorial in the upper right-hand corner of the history page.
