Collier on Bankruptcy 16th Ed.: Publication Updates

With releases 119 (September 2011) and 120 (December 2011), LexisNexis is pleased to conclude the publication the 16th Edition of Collier on Bankruptcy. Release 119 includes volumes 14, 16 and 17 of the Sixteenth Edition. These volumes replace volumes 11 and 12A of the Fifteenth Edition Revised, which may be archived or discarded. The new volumes cover commercial forms, the U.S. Supreme Court opinion in Stern v. Marshall, and updated state exemptions (volumes 12 and 13). Release 120 includes volumes 11 and *. These volumes replace volumes 15 and * of the Fifteenth Edition Revised, which may be archived or discarded. New volume 11 is the tax-guide component of Collier on Bankruptcy, and the * volume contains the tax index, the forms index, the treatise index and the table of cases. With release 120, the transition from the Fifteenth Edition Revised Edition to the Sixteenth Edition is complete.

With release 118 (June 2011), the publication of the Sixteenth Edition of Collier on Bankruptcy continues with the issuance of volumes 18 and 19. These volumes replace volumes 13 and 13A of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. Please archive (or discard) volumes 13 and 13A of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. New volumes 18 and 19 focus on consumer bankruptcy forms. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not discard volume 13 of the Sixteenth Edition: Sixteenth Edition volume 18 replaces volume 13 of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. It does not displace or supersede volume 13 of the Sixteenth Edition.

Release 117 (March 2011) of the 16th Edition of Collier on Bankruptcy includes volumes 12, 13 and 15 of the Sixteenth Edition. These volumes cover exemptions and commercial forms. Do not discard volume 13 of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. The Sixteenth Edition volume 13 does not displace or supersede volume 13 of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. That volume of the Fifteenth Edition Revised will be replaced in a subsequent release in 2011.

Release 115 (September 2010) of the 16th Edition of Collier on Bankruptcy includes Volume 6 of the Sixteenth Edition. Volume 6 covers chapter 7 (liquidation) and chapter 9 (adjustment of debts of a municipality). This release addresses the recent decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court in Hamilton v. Lanning, 2010 U.S. LEXIS 4568 (June 7, 2010), and Schwab v. Reilly, 2010 U.S. LEXIS 4974 (June 17, 2010).

Release 114 (July 2010) includes volume 3 of the Sixteenth Edition of Collier on Bankruptcy, which covers subchapters II, III and IV of Bankruptcy Code chapter 3. Release 113 (April 2010) continues the publication of a new edition of Collier on Bankruptcy. The Sixteenth Edition will be completed in phases over a three-year period, with volume for-volume swaps occurring in most of the upcoming releases. Release 113 contains volumes 5 and 8 of the Sixteenth Edition to replace volumes 5 and 8 of the Fifteenth Edition Revised. Until the completion of the Sixteenth Edition, the complete set of Collier on Bankruptcy will consist of both Sixteenth Edition and Fifteenth Edition Revised volumes. Customers should archive volumes 5 and 8 of the Fifteenth Edition Revised.
