European Court Finds Serbia Violated Law When It Failed To Enforce Award

STRASBOURG, France - The European Court of Human Rights on April 20 granted an application filed by a Belgrade hotel owner and an investor that alleged that they suffered violations under the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, finding that Serbia violated Serbian law when it failed to take necessary measures to enforce an arbitration award rendered in their favor (Kin-Stib, et al. v.
