Pro Bono Work: Come Share Your Experiences & Register for a Webinar

Martindale-Hubbell Connected will be hosting its Pro Bono event during the last two weeks of April, coinciding with National Volunteer Week, which takes place April 18-24. Our Alliance Partner, Pro Bono Net, will host the event in their group on Connected. Event highlights will include a webinar, "Pro Bono and Your Career," scheduled for Thursday, April 22, at 4 pm EST. Confirmed panelists include:

  • Peggy O. Montgomery, Counsel, Exxon Mobil Corporation
  • Tiela Chalmers, Executive Director, Bar Association of San Francisco Volunteer Legal Services Program
  • David Lash, Managing Counsel of Public Interest and Pro Bono Services, O'Melveny & Myers LLP
  • Kwanza Butler, Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary, Time Warner Inc.
  • Peter Isajiw, Associate, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP

Register for the webinar today.

Besides registering for the webinar, I was hoping members of the Connected community would share their experiences and thoughts about pro bono work. Have you done pro bono work before? Always wanted to, but not sure how to get started? Wondering what types of opportunities may arise from doing such work?

Whatever the case, come join the Pro Bono Net group today to share your experiences, interests and questions by responding to the forum topic, "Welcome to the Group: Please Introduce Yourself." And, of course, once in the group, you can connect with colleagues who have similar experiences and interests in pro bono work, get access to the exclusive content offerings made available to group members, and take part in the ongoing conversations about pro bono work in today's legal world.
