Calif. Court To Decide If Repeal Of Right Of Action Bars Competition Law Claim

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court on March 14 agreed to decide whether Congress' repeal of the private right of action in the Truth in Savings Act (TISA) provides a safe harbor from unfair competition law (UCL) actions, according to the docket (Harold Rose, et al. v. Bank of America, N.A., No. S199074, Calif. Sup.).
