Lending Firm Denied Dismissal Of Fraud, RICO Counterclaims In Cybersquatting Case

MINNEAPOLIS - Because a plaintiff initiated its cybersquatting and defamation claims against a dissatisfied former customer in Minnesota federal court, a judge in that court held March 12, the plaintiff waived its right to dismiss the defendant's counterclaims for lack of jurisdiction in light of a forum selection provision included in an agreement between the parties (Jalin Realty Capital Advisors LLC, et al. v. A Better Wireless, NISP, LLC, No. 0:11-cv-00165, D. Minn.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 32730).
