Petition To Calif. Top Court Involving Over-Registering Odometers Withdrawn

LOS ANGELES - The California Supreme Court on March 14 allowed consumers and automobile manufacturer Nissan North America Inc. to withdraw a petition for review involving whether a statutorily permitted 4-percent variance for odometers provided a safe harbor from unfair competition law claims involving a 2-percent variance (Michael Lopez, et al. v. Nissan North America Inc., et al., No. S199445, Calif. Sup.).
