CINCINNATI - A U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel (BAP) for the Sixth Circuit on March 15 affirmed a bankruptcy court's ruling that held that a trustee could not rule a bank's security interest in a debtor's property void under a section of the Bankruptcy Code (Josiah L. Mason v. Michael Joseph Szerwinski $(In Re: Michael Joseph Szerwinski$), No. 11-8050, Chapter 7, BAP 6th Cir.; 2012 Bankr. LEXIS 1097).
