Federal Judge Denies Dismissal, Certification In Military Credit Card Case

SAN FRANCISCO - In a putative class action on remand from a federal appeals court in which a plaintiff alleges overcharges on military credit cards, a federal judge on March 22 denied the defendant's renewed motion to dismiss as moot and the plaintiff's renewed motion for class certification (Russell v. United States of America, No. 09-03239, N.D. Calif.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 39313).
