Federal Judge Dismisses Fraud Claim In Coverage Suit Over Hurricane Omar Damages

CROIX, Virgin Islands - Insureds have not pleaded the requisite elements of fraud with sufficient particularity, a Virgin Islands federal judge ruled March 21, granting the insurer's motion to dismiss their fraud claim in a coverage dispute over damages stemming from Hurricane Omar (Kiskidee LLC v. Certain Interested Underwriters at Lloyd's of London subscribing to policy No. NB043060B,, No. 2009-077, D. Virgin Islands; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 38289).
