Federal Judge Rules On Motions To Remand, Dismiss In Garnishment Suit

SAVANNAH, Ga. - A federal judge in Georgia on March 23 denied a plaintiff's motion to remand and said he intends to convert a motion to dismiss to a motion for summary judgment in a suit in which the plaintiff says the defendants illegally garnished her wages to repay a defaulted student loan (Moss v. Premiere Credit of North America, LLC, , et al., No. 11-00123, S.D. Ga.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 40345).
