Company Directors And Officers: Shareholder Failed To Show Demand Futility

CHICAGO - Alleging that a shareholder failed to sufficiently show that presuit demand on a board of directors would be futile, directors and officers of a corporation asked an Illinois federal court on March 26 to dismiss the shareholder's derivative lawsuit (Natalie Gordon v. William M. Goodyear, et al., No. 12-cv-00369, N.D. Ill.).
