Judge Partially Grants, Denies Motions To Compel In Debt Collection Suit

STATESVILLE, N.C. - In a case in which a plaintiff says a collection agency violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and state law, a federal judge in North Carolina on March 29 granted in part and denied in part the plaintiff and defendant's motions to compel discovery responses (Jenkins v. G. C. Services L. P., No. 11-00059, W.D. N.C.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 43418).
