5th Circuit Affirms Compelling Of Arbitration In Debt Collection Suit

NEW ORLEANS - The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on April 3 affirmed a district court's order compelling arbitration in a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) action, disagreeing with the plaintiff appellant's statute of limitations argument (Daniel O'Fallon v. Encore Receivable Mgmt, Inc., et al., No. 11-60730, 5th Cir.; 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 6633).
